The late Sister Josepha Dunlop became a student at Star of the Sea College in 1930.

Her long association with the school continued as a member of staff, Head of the Junior School and Principal 1968-70, 1982-90.

The Library is named as an affectionate tribute to her guidance, leadership and love for the students and staff.
